ASRY is the Arabian Gulf’s most experienced ship and rig repair yard. Founded in 1977 in Bahrain, ASRY has over 35 years of experience in marine asset optimization. Its leading range of facilities includes a 500,000dwt drydock, two floating docks of 252m and 227m in length, 15 repair berths with a total length of approximately 4,000m, twin 255m slipways, as well as a full range of workshops and service centres.

In 2007, Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) entered into a joint venture with Keppel Offshore & Marine (KOM) with the vision to establish a world-class shipyard in Qatar. Three years later, the nation celebrated a historic moment in Qatar’s maritime history as the Erhama Bin Jaber Al Jalahma Shipyard was inaugurated by then Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, on 23rd November 2010.

EGA is one of the world’s largest ‘premium aluminum’ producers and the biggest industrial company in the Saudi Arabia outside oil and gas. EGA operates aluminum smelters in Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia and is developing an alumina refinery in the Saudi Arabia and a bauxite mine and associated export facilities in the Guinea. Our production capacity is 2.5 million tons of aluminum per year.
